I fill my mind with powerful thoughts.

My mind is the design center of my reality. When I fill my mind with powerful thoughts, I keep myself from shallow and worthless opinions.

The blueprint for my character is marked by compelling depth because I allow powerful thoughts in my mind.

My mind preserves knowledge and retains wisdom so I can shape my actions according to the understanding that I possess.

My actions and words are the unequivocal evidence of what I harbor inside my mind.

I remove negative thoughts from my mental archives in order to fill my mind with positivity.

When my mind is filled with substance, I am able to expel weakness from my thought life.

My thoughts promote prosperity in every area of my life.

I enjoy reading the works of wise men and women in order to glean knowledge from them.

Whenever I read or hear an inspiring quote, I write it down so I may recall it at a later time.

My mind is so full of powerful thoughts that, whenever I am faced with a difficult situation, I can affirm myself with the knowledge that I hold.

I can trust myself as my own counselor in times of trouble because I am filled with hope.

Today, I am giving superior value to the power of my thoughts.

I am filling my mind with powerful thoughts by stirring up memories of lessons learned and attracting new knowledge.

My private thoughts are becoming the visible reality of my life.

I release distracting thoughts from my mind.

In order to reach my full measure of productivity, I disallow distracting thoughts from my mind.

Thoughts may come and go, but I choose to nurture only positive thoughts that help me be most productive.

I simply allow distracting thoughts to pass through my mind, unattended.

I choose to fill my mind with positive thoughts. I have let go of the idea that life should be easy, so I view challenges as opportunities rather than obstacles.

I do not feed passing thoughts that tell me I am unable to achieve my goals.

Instead I focus my thoughts on finding ways to do the unimaginable, despite the circumstances or barriers.

I optimize my productivity by having a time for tending to each part of my life.

If a thought pertains to something other than the task at hand, I simply let it go.

If I am truly concerned that I will forget something important, I can take a moment to write it down in an agenda, then I will immediately return my attention to the task at hand.

By releasing these distracting thought, I can enhance my own productivity.

How to Think Outside the Box

Have you ever heard the saying, “Think outside the box?” Of course you have! It’s a saying that has been thrown around at work and in countless self-help books.

Thinking outside the box usually creates unique solutions to the most unusual of problems, but it’s not as easy as it sounds.

We are all creative, but it can be difficult to tap into the creativity within us if our minds are constrained by pressures, time, or judgment.

For this reason, some of us may have difficulty thinking outside the box since it involves going outside of our snug comfort zone.

Leaving the Familiar Path

Thinking outside the box means you’re leaving the realm of familiarity by going well beyond what you have established as your boundaries.

When you do this, you’ll unlock new ways of thinking and unique solutions to nagging problems.

Others may look at your ideas with skepticism or disbelief, but that’s because it’s outside of their comfort zones, too!

And that’s okay because you are the trailblazer.

So how do you leave that familiar path and think outside the box? You do it by expanding your comfort zone.

Right now, you’re stuck in this maze of confined thinking. This is because we are all trained from a young age to think and act a certain way.

In reality, there isn’t just one way to think. There really are countless ways of getting things done!

This is exactly why we need to keep an open mind and remove all barriers.

You can learn how to develop the desire to be, think and act differently than everyone else, but it requires you to do things you may be uncomfortable doing.

For example, speaking up in a crowd, going against common wisdom, or asking questions that no one else asks.

It may feel uncomfortable at first, but it’s the only way to expand your comfort zone and see things in a new way.

Do you think that Albert Einstein or Alexander Graham Bell stuck to conventional wisdom? Of course not!

They took their thinking to entirely new levels in order to discover theories and inventions that have changed the course of the world today.

The key lesson here is that if something doesn’t work, you may have to think about it from another angle.

Turn the page upside down if you have to! Always remember that you can test and tweak things until it’s just right.

Don’t beat yourself up if you fail because failure is necessary for significant growth and improvement.

Characteristics of Thought

There are certain characteristics associated with thinking outside the box. These characteristics include:

Listening to and evaluating new perspectives
Thinking about and discussing topics with substance
Envisioning the value of wacky ideas
Always striving to create new, improved ways to get things done
Respecting the opinions and ideas of others

It may be a challenge to see the world in a whole new way, but it’s not impossible.

You may be required to recognize a good idea and be able to act upon it immediately.

You also have to know that new ideas need to be nurtured and supported in order for them to flourish.

By keeping these things in mind, you are well on your way to accepting the challenge to think and grow outside the box.

Building Self-Confidence through Positive Self-Talk

Whether you’re at work or just facing a bad day at home, there are many things you can do to make sure you’re back in the saddle and feeling more confident about life.

One of the best ways to regain your self-confidence is to give yourself a little pep talk.

The idea of positive self-talk, or positive thinking, is something many coaches and counselors suggest to their clients and nearly everyone can benefit from it.

Have you ever been in a situation where you think a little bit of positive reinforcement could make things a lot easier? Don’t wait for someone else to lift your spirits; take a moment and realize you can easily do it yourself!

Be Proactive and Gain Confidence

Having negative thoughts, even about a single project at work, can often impact your entire outlook on life.

You may begin to believe that you’re in a trap of bad luck or that things will never get better, but in reality, the only way for things to get better is to make positive changes and that takes both action and self-confidence.

When faced with a difficult situation that leaves negative feelings, step away for a few minutes and take some deep breaths.Think about a resolution to the problem, come up with a smart action plan, then return to propose your plan.
Removing yourself from the situation will help minimize those negative feelings while allowing you to gain some perspective.

What Makes You Special?

Another way to lift your spirits and give yourself a confidence boost is to remind yourself of your accomplishments, both at home and at work.

Did a client praise your work? Have you been promoted? Do co-workers come to you for advice? Do friends marvel at your decorating flair?Each person is so much more complex than what’s visible on the outside. Allow yourself to delve deeper into your soul and treasure what makes you unique.

Rediscover your personal strengths or hobbies that make you proud and happy.

Do you love to cook? Have you traveled extensively? Do you play an instrument? Do you play competition sports?These are all accomplishments you should be proud of because you took the time to develop these different facets of your life.

Think about the journey you took to reach those accomplishments. If something was too easy, you may place less importance on the final outcome, but when you are able to face and overcome serious challenges, it makes you a stronger and more determined person.

How Do I Use Positive Self-Talk?

The term positive self-talk might scare some people away, thinking it involves talking to yourself out loud.

Although you may choose to say positive affirmations out loud, it’s enough to just think positively about your accomplishments and what makes you special.

If you’re having trouble thinking about your strengths, sit down in a quiet spot and make a list of everything that makes you unique. Taking some extra time to write these things down will help reinforce them in your mind.

Once the list is written, post it in a place where you’ll see it everyday. Starting your day positively will make the small nuisances disappear.

If necessary, make copies of these lists so you can take one with you. Anytime you feel down or upset, take out your list and read it. You are a fabulous person and this list proves it!

This list isn’t written in stone; it should be a continuously changing list, just as we continuously change ourselves. So be sure to constantly add to your list as you achieve more accomplishments!

Everyone Can Benefit From Positive Thinking

As you build your self-confidence with positive self-talk, you might feel silly at first but you’ll still benefit from the experience.

Whenever you feel overwhelmed, stop and give yourself a little pep talk. Reassure yourself that you’re strong, that you can get through anything, and that success is within your grasp.

Remembering that everyone goes through ups and downs in life will help you face the day more positively.

Thoughts and feelings are what make us human.

Everyone experiences negative emotions, but if these negative feelings seem to cling to you everyday, then finding ways to dissolve that negative energy can be empowering.

Your life is yours to control so don’t wait for others to help. Positive thinking and positive self-talk can help you come out of the darkness and into the light.

Build Wealth with Positive Thinking

To achieve any kind of great success, you must first believe that you’re capable of achieving that success.

Great sports stars can suddenly begin having lousy performances if they suddenly feel they can’t perform well or live up to their coach’s high expectations.

Writers and musicians suddenly have their wellsprings of inspiration dry up if they no longer “feel it” or if they suddenly lose confidence in their creative abilities.

The same is true in our own lives. You don’t have to be famous for your boss to have high expectations of you at work.

Our families also have certain expectations and if you cave under the pressure, your performance might suffer and your negative thoughts will infiltrate other areas of your life.

You’re Worthy of Achieving Wealth and Success

When it comes to building wealth, we have to believe that we can see ourselves becoming more and more wealthy.

It doesn’t matter how smart we might be, or how talented we are, or whether we’re sitting on top of the best business opportunity to come along in our lifetime, if we don’t believe in ourselves, we’ll have a hard time building wealth.

Wealth flows to those who believe they deserve it. It flows to those who envision it in their hands, their bank accounts, and their lives.

Even in your darkest hours when you’re trying to build wealth in your life, when times are tough and the seas of your world are troubled, you have to continue to see great wealth in your life. If it all seems to be happening too slowly, have patience.

Those who “know” something good is coming their way can always afford to be patient and safe in their knowledge that what they’re yearning for is within their grasp.

You’ll Survive the Difficult Times

Earlier I mentioned sports. One of the great coaches in professional sports history, Vince Lombardi, said the time when you really need to believe in yourself is not when everything is going your way.

You need to believe in yourself when everyone doubts you.

It’s easy to have confidence when everything is naturally falling into place! But where is your confidence when you need it the most?

Obviously, it can be tough to maintain a positive mindset when others get down on you, but to help improve your outlook, try to surround yourself with people who believe in you and are supportive of your goals.

Engaging with others who share your enthusiasm will lift your spirits and help block out negative thoughts.

When you have a positive mindset about creating wealth, you’ll continue to do what feels right even when the darkness descends and everything seems like chaos.

When no one else believes in you, you’ll still be able to take inspired action and, by constantly moving forward, you’ll attract the wealth that you desire.

But none of this can happen unless you begin with a clear vision. You have to see yourself with the wealth and abundance you desire and deserve.

Each day, take a moment to find a quiet place and see yourself with the financial freedom, flexibility, and life you desire!

Overcoming Obstacles

We all encounter obstacles in life whether it’s related to our finances, relationships, work, conflict, or illness. There are many things that we desire, but there are always challenges that we must overcome before we succeed.

Instead of thinking negatively and giving up on your dreams, why not figure out how you can overcome these obstacles and make them part of your success story? After all, the bitterest of obstacles only serve to strengthen us and make victory that much sweeter!

Leaping Past Your Obstacles to Achieve Success

Everyone would be rich, healthy, happy, and successful if it weren’t for those brick walls that spring up unexpectedly and discourage us, but the real success stories all start with some problem, failure or obstacle.

The truth is, there will always be things that stand in our way. That’s precisely why we all have a choice: we can choose to believe we can overcome any obstacles, or we can choose to give up. It always starts with a choice.

Setting Attainable Goals to Overcome Obstacles

You need to be able to set attainable, realistic goals so you can leap over the obstacles that are in your way on the path to success.

Setting goals is a great way to move past obstacles because it gives you a timeline to help you get things done regardless of the barriers along your path.

This will also help you make constant progress toward your goals through prioritization and organization.

Setting goals is important to overcoming obstacles because it allows you to envision your future and create something concrete to work toward. Many people become apprehensive when they only see barriers and roadblocks standing in their way.

These people see the obstacles but don’t see the goal at the end of their journey. Sadly, they give up before they get started. But this doesn’t have to be you!

Creating Bite-Sized Goals

Goals often help people see the obstacles they thought existed don’t exist at all, or they were just not as insurmountable as they first thought. After all, there’s no need to make a mountain of a molehill!

On the other hand, if your obstacles are significant ones, you may find it beneficial to break these obstacles down into mini goals.

When you set attainable, realistic goals you are breaking the obstacles into manageable bite-sized pieces that you can overcome one at a time.

For example, if you need a college degree to meet your ultimate goal, consider the application process as your first mini goal and move forward from there, one step at a time.

Using Affirmations and Positive Self-Talk to Break Down Mental Barriers

Leaping past your obstacles is easier when you have a positive mindset. Affirmations and positive self-talk help you program your mind for success.

For example, you may find it easier to move forward with your goals if you said, “I am capable of succeeding without feeling overwhelmed or unfulfilled.”

By implementing affirmations you will create a positive inner dialogue so you can overcome any obstacle with confidence and purpose.

How to Stay Focused on Losing Weight

What is the hardest thing you have ever tried to do? If you ask 100 people from all walks of life, I’d bet the majority would mention losing weight.

Losing weight can be challenging because we all want to shed the extra pounds just in time for Sally’s wedding or next weekend’s beach trip.

Even though it took time to put on the weight, somehow we want it to magically disappear instantly. The reality is that losing weight takes time for everyone. You’re not alone!

Unfortunately, weight doesn’t just fall off our bodies, and that’s why most of us find it difficult to stay focused on our weight loss goals. Fortunately, there’s a solution and it all begins with a positive mindset.

Weight Loss Affirmations and You

The problem that many of us have is that when the weight doesn’t disappear right away, we get frustrated or discouraged, and then we easily give into temptation.

We have all had those, “Nothing’s ever going to work so I might as well just eat” thoughts that set us back when we are just getting started in the weight loss process.

Instead of allowing these thoughts to plant a seed in your mind, you can use affirmations to positively react to negative thoughts. Doing so will also serve as a reminder of your goal.

Taking back this power is a key step in re-establishing control over your negative actions. Besides, it’s okay to stumble along the way. Overcoming obstacles only makes your victory even sweeter!

How Stressful Thinking Affects You

We all encounter stress from day to day and minute to minute, but how we deal with stress determines whether it moves us forward or holds us back.

Stressful thinking is often frenzied, inaccurate, and unreliable, yet many of us go through life thinking and behaving in stressful manners. Many of us assume that this is the way life has to be, and there is no getting around it, but this is certainly not the case!

Silencing negative thinking may be easier than you ever imagined it could be, but it begins with a positive thought.

Negative Thinking, Positive Aspirations, and You

Negative thinking not only controls the way you approach life, but it also can affect your body, mind, and relationships in negative ways. When you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you have the power to move forward in a healthier and more productive way. With enough time and effort, you can change your thought process, and it all begins with just a few words.

The Power of A Few Words…

When you see a list of affirmations, you see nothing more than a list of words with idealistic phrases that do not seem to apply to your thinking. If you look closer at each affirmation, you may find that many of them encapsulate the way you would like to think.

When you see a positive phrase that speaks to you, latch onto it and use it to extinguish the negative thought you want to get rid of. In essence, you will be replacing your negative thinking pattern with a positive approach. This is what positive affirmations are all about!

Affirmations are positive statements that stimulate your mind to accomplish all of the great things you would like. Words have the power to move mountains because they can evoke emotions within us all. If you use an affirmation that speaks to you on a deep level – and you reaffirm it by repeating it often – you can make the statement your mantra and your reality.

If you are overcome by negative thinking to the point where you think no affirmation can work for you, don’t lose hope! There are many affirmations that can help you deal with just that! Using an affirmation such as, “Negative thinking is not my way of thinking” will give you the power to change your thought process and your life. It may feel awkward at first, but as you reaffirm the positive emotions you desire, your negative thinking will be replaced with positive thoughts.

There are many different affirmations to help you with negative thinking. Something as simple as, “Negative thoughts cannot enter my mind” will allow you a moment to replace anger and frustration with a positive thought.

Does this sound too good to be true? There are many people who, just like you, think this strategy is too simple to be effective. The only way to know for certain is to try it for yourself. What do you have to lose? No one has to know but you, and you just may find that the benefits are so great that you want to share them with everyone you know.

I am channeling my energy into “prosperity thinking” and the result is greater productivity.

I envision myself as a winner. When I picture myself debt free and on top of my finances, I am able to do whatever it takes to get me there. My accounts are clear. My debts are paid. Those mental images motivate me to work harder than I ever have worked so I can achieve my goals.

I have something to aspire to when I paint mental pictures of victory. I work harder when I envision myself more prosperous. My thoughts involve visualizing myself in a better place than I am today.

I visualize my career taking flight. I visualize my investments going through the roof. I see myself surrounded by healthy relationships. When I see myself this way and my dreams are clear in my mind, I am eager to help myself achieve my dreams.

All my energy is focused on the thought of being in the better place that I deserve. I do not waste my energy fretting about shortcomings and mistakes. Ambition helps me to press on in my work.

I am amazed at how focused my work is when I am working toward a goal. My work is marked by a high rate of productivity when all my energy goes toward positive thinking. In turn, I am capable of finishing my work ahead of schedule and exceeding expectations.
