I do not cling to less important priorities.

Because I am clear on my goals, I do not cling to less important priorities.

I recognize that, like everyone else, I have limited time, energy and resources.

I let go of the idea that somehow I should be able to do everything.

I keep my focus on my objective, and distribute my time based on three priorities: family, rest and rejuvenation, and my goals.

My family comes first in my life, and I set aside time to nurture them and my relationships with them.

My relaxation activities are also important.

While they may not seem that essential to others, I know that my level of productivity depends largely on my own opportunities for rest and creative expression, so I make those a priority as well.

With the rest of my time, I choose to engage in activities that help me reach my personal and professional goals and let go of everything else.

Whether it’s a conference through work or a bowling night with friends, I filter each possible activity and expenditure through my priorities and make my decisions accordingly.

I am clear with others about my priorities and availability.

I let go of all guilt when I choose to decline an activity because I am confident that I have the big picture in mind and I am making a positive choice for the long run.

Life changes line up with my goals, beliefs, and attitudes.

My life is organic, so it is always changing.

Like a flower, my roots are always spreading and my limbs extend toward the sun.

Changes enter my life and I adjust.

Because changes are a part of living, I am not surprised when something unexpected happened.

Being prepared to alter my plans or accommodate new circumstances shows that I understand the important nature of change.

I am confident that no matter what may come my way, I can realign myself to incorporate the change.

I imagine a beautiful potted flower.

As the flower has grown, it has lifted itself toward the sun.

However, if the position of the pot were to change, the flower would continue to thrive and simply adjust, its petals again searching out the sun.

Sometimes I imagine my goals, beliefs, and attitudes as the bright sun and picture myself as the beautiful flower.

I am reminded that, even if my direction is turned, I will continue to grow toward the sun.

Thinking of my life in these terms helps me see that I am drawn toward good things and positive experiences.

Changes in my life do not intimidate me.

When my life changes, my goals, beliefs, and attitudes will adjust as well. This is a natural part of living and growing.

As I grow, I come closer to reaching my goals.

Even if I must alter my path, I find that I am blessed because I can overcome change and emerge as a more balanced person because of the experience.

What is Visualization?

There are many tools you can use to help you live the life of your dreams.

Opening your mind to different techniques can help you make big changes in how you approach your future and reach your goals.

Many people use visualization to inspire and motivate them.

More than just thinking about what you want, visualization is an effective tool that harnesses the power of your subconscious mind to help you achieve your wildest dreams.

Your mind has an amazing ability to create your reality, and visualization is a key to creating the reality you desire.

Our thoughts, like everything, are made up of energy, and that energy sends a certain vibration into the universe.

As vibrations are sent out, they attract similar energetic vibrations and draw them to us.

The more positive energy you put out, the more positive energy you’ll receive.

This universal law of attraction is at work in your life, whether you believe in it or not.

By understanding how universal laws work, you can choose to work with them and manifest great changes in your world.

Follow these steps to effective visualization:

Make sure you’re in a quiet environment without distractions.

1. Close your eyes and breathe deeply.

Breathe in slowly through your nose to a count of five, then exhale through your mouth to a count of five or more.

As you breathe in, your diaphragm should expand, and as you exhale, it should flatten.

Take at least three to five breaths like this to slow your heart rate and calm your mind.

2. Picture a clear mental image of what you desire.

Focus on the details.

Notice the colors, textures, sounds and smells within your vision.

See yourself touching the things in your vision and tasting the air.

Let it play like a movie in your mind, with you as the director and leading star.

Picture yourself already doing or having the things you want to manifest.

See yourself accomplishing your goals with ease.

3. Practice visualizing the thing you want at least two times each day.

In order for visualization to work to its highest potential, you must be consistent with your new habit and use the practice every day.

If you start to experience negative thoughts during your day, stop them and replace them with your vision and the positive thoughts connected to it.

Follow each step of the process through to completion.

Let yourself feel the emotions connected to achieving your goal.

Avoid any feelings of doubt or questioning. Visualize the outcome as though it has already happened.

4 Don’t rush through your visualization.

Allow yourself enough time to experience the vision fully; about ten minutes or so is usually sufficient.

Visualization can be very powerful in helping clarify your desires.

However, it’s important to remember that you may not receive the answers you’re seeking in the way you expect.

Remain open minded to different manifestations of your desires.

If you desire money, for example, don’t expect to win the lottery or receive a check in the mail.

Instead, you may be offered a new job, a promotion, or some other opportunity to earn extra money.

You may find your desires answered immediately or they may come to pass gradually.

By keeping an open mind, you’re more likely to see opportunities that can bring your visualizations to fruition.

Visualization can lead you to greater peace of mind, serenity and contentment.

Setting Goals for Success: Five Tips to Define Clear Goals

Whether you want to set goals for your business or your personal life, defining clear, concise goals is very important.

Without clear goals you can end up confused about what you want to achieve, and you may be putting yourself on the path to stagnation.

Clear goals can give you tremendous momentum and intense purpose in your life.

Here are five important tips to help you to define clear goals in your life:

1. Understand what you want to achieve.

In order to define clear goals, your first step is to determine exactly what you want to achieve.

If you don’t know where you’re going, you can’t figure out a route to get there.

Once you know where you want to be and what you want to achieve, you’ll be able to come up with the goals that will help you get there.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Take the time to sit down and brainstorm your long-term dreams and desires.

2. Determine a timeline.

Setting timelines will prevent procrastination and spur you on to action to meet your goals.

Having a timeline for your goals also helps to clarify them because now you know what you want and when you want it!

Come up with goals that you want to meet in a month, year, and even five or ten years from now.

Make a plan that will keep you on track; however, don’t etch your plan in stone! Allow for changes along the way, but keep your eye on the main goal.

3. Ensure your goals are realistic.

With realistic goals, you can almost guarantee that you’ll be able to achieve them, and you won’t stress yourself out trying to accomplish something that’s out of reach.

A clear goal is a realistic one.

Break your long-term goals into small, achievable action steps.

Reaching multiple goals along your journey will give you a feeling of accomplishment and motivate you to continue.

4. Be specific. Clarify your goals with the details of exactly what you want. Avoid vague generalities.

When you make a specific goal, you’ll be better able to accomplish it.

Specific goals allow you to form your timeline and define your action steps. There’s no guesswork involved when dealing with specifics.

For example, “make more money with your business” is a vague goal.

Come up with a specific goal, such as, “I will make $1,000 more per month, three months from today.” This goal is specific, measurable, and realistic.

5. Refine your goals. Your goals may change as your life changes.

During this process, you’ll be able to make them more specific, realistic, and achievable.

It’s okay to refine your goals several times in your life!

What’s important now, might not be important to you six months or six years from now.

Be willing to accept change. Revisit your goals from time to time and make new plans if necessary.

Some people flounder through life, unsure of their purpose or what they want to achieve.

Don’t let this be you!

Your life will have clear meaning if you put some thought into what’s important to you, what goals you want to achieve, and what actions to take to make your dreams a reality.

There’s a pretty good chance you’ve heard something about the Law of Attraction in the past few years.

For a while it was pretty big news and lots of people who wanted better lives jumped on the bandwagon.

While you’re not hearing as much about it in the media these days, the Law of Attraction still holds true.

Just what is the Law of Attraction, and how can it work to help you be happier and more successful?

The basic rule of the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like.

When you’re in a healthy, successful mindset, you’ll be healthier and more successful.

Positive thinking is a powerful tool as long as you use it correctly.

So how do you do it?

Here are some ways you can use the Law of Attraction to make your life more fulfilling and achieve your goals:

1. Visualize what you desire.

You need to have a clear idea of what you want out of life, not just a general or vague picture.

By envisioning every detail of your desire, you’ll eventually receive it!

Know exactly what your goal is and outline the path for getting there.

Then track your progress. You’ll be surprised at how much of a difference this makes!

2. Allow yourself to succeed.

You may think this sounds silly. After all, you’re not the one holding yourself back – or are you?

Many of us keep ourselves from the success we hope for, whether it’s because we feel like we don’t deserve it or we’re just not paying attention.

Take a look at your life and ask yourself if you have behavior patterns or attitudes that keep you from taking advantage of opportunities that can help you succeed.

Recognizing and being aware of these self-sabotaging attitudes is a big step toward change.

Do you consistently do something that sets you back every time you’re on the verge of achieving a goal?

Forming a mindset that will allow you to be a success can make a huge difference.

3. Have focus.

It’s easy to have many desires at once.

The world is constantly giving you chances to make things better.

You just have to be willing to take advantage of them.

Thinking Your Way to Success

Do you often envision yourself achieving great things, and then follow this up with a negative thought process?

Do you talk yourself out of your dreams before you even begin to pursue them?

If so, you need to change the way you think.

When you change your thought processes to success thinking you truly can change your life.

Positive thoughts enable you to reach out and grasp the success you seek.

Affirmations and You

Wanting to succeed and being able to envision your success is a great place to start.

When you can do this, you’re giving yourself permission to change your life, attain your goals, and be a success.

There will be days when it’s more difficult to think in a positive and success affirming way; during these times you can turn to a useful tool called affirmations.

Affirmations have helped a lot of people turn their thinking into positive thinking, propelling them toward their goals in a new and exciting way.

Affirmations for success can help you change the way you think about everything.

If you’re honest with yourself, you may find that much of your inner dialogue, how you feel about yourself, and even the way you carry yourself are negative.

This destructive thinking sets you up to fail or causes you to give up before you ever really get started.

As with anything new, creating a success mindset will take practice to give you the best results.

The good news is: you can get all the practice you need with the help of success affirmations.

What Are Affirmations?

Affirmations are positive statements that activate your mind to change your life, one thought at a time.

They enable you to accomplish the things you wish to achieve.

Affirmations work because each word we speak has power, the power to evoke emotions.

They work because they allow you to program – or reprogram – your thought processes, replacing negative thoughts with positive ones.

For example, if you find that you’re telling yourself what you can’t do, you can replace these negative thoughts with an affirmation for success, such as, “I am capable of succeeding without feeling overwhelmed or unfulfilled.”

If that statement doesn’t quite fit you, there are many affirmations for success, such as “I am worthy of great success.”

All you need to do is want to feel this way, and then every time you say these statements aloud you reaffirm them to your subconscious.

Is It Really This Easy?

Many of the most successful people in the world aren’t much different than you.

The key characteristic that sets them apart, though, is that they have a success mindset.

It seems too simple to be true, but when you talk to people who’ve experienced success, you’ll find that they use statements like these to drive them toward their goals and away from negativity.

Their inner dialogue is one of success and achievement.

If success came naturally to all of us, we would all be successful.

Unfortunately, in this day and time, many people prefer to focus on the negative, rather than embrace success.

With affirmations, you can overcome your limiting, negative thoughts and make it second nature for you to choose success.

Success can be a reality for you, so long as you believe and reaffirm your positive thoughts consistently.

How to Easily Expand Your Comfort Zone

What if I told you I’d give you $1,000 to make an important public speech?

Would you take the offer?

Like most of us, you probably recoiled immediately at the idea, even though it could be lucrative for you!

Why didn’t this idea appeal to you?

When the very thought of certain activities evokes fear or anxiety within you, it’s because they’re outside your comfort zone.

Public speaking, for example, is outside most people’s comfort zone.

Your comfort zone is the sphere of activities that you feel comfortable with and that you can accomplish without negative emotions.

It also includes people, places, and things that cause only positive thoughts within you.

How Important is Your Comfort Zone?

Your comfort zone can limit your capabilities and cause you to forsake your dreams and goals, or it can spur you on to great things.

In fact, your comfort zone can determine both your personality and your potential for success.

Many successful people achieve their goals because they have the ability to expand their comfort zone in order to get what they want.

If you wish to expand your comfort zone, you can mentally condition yourself to be comfortable in new situations so you can overcome your anxiety, achieve your goals, and fulfill your dreams.

Here are some tips you can use to expand your comfort zone and help fight your anxiety about certain situations:

Understand your mindset. Mental conditioning plays a large role in developing your comfort zone.

This means that how we form our comfort zones begins in our own mind.

Each of us already has preconceived notions of what may be comfortable and what may not be, and we designate mental guidelines to keep us within our comfort zone.

You have chosen your own comfort zone boundaries!

Knowing your boundaries is the first step to being able to expand them.

Disobey some of your self-imposed rules.

If you want to expand your comfort zone, you must let yourself loose from the guidelines you impose on yourself.

Breaking some of these rules will allow you to seek new experiences that can bring you greater success!

Consider the true risk of a situation.

It’s important to know what the true risks are, as opposed to what you feel (or fear) may occur.

Knowing the difference can enable you to overcome your limitations.

Challenge yourself to step outside your comfort level.

Many times, we are our own worst enemy when it comes to boundaries and limitations.

There are times when you’ll have to push yourself to get where you want to be.

In these instances, you must meet the challenge to leave your comfort zone.

When stepping outside your comfort zone brings you success, you’ll find that the benefits are well worth the effort!

Whenever you try something for the first time, you’re bound to be a little uncomfortable.

We’re all conditioned to fight change and stay in our comfort zones.

You may have to remind yourself that only you can push yourself to step outside the box.

Be patient, be aware of your self-imposed limitations, and try things in small steps at a time.

This way your comfort zone will expand at a gradual, comfortable pace, and your fears and anxieties will subside as you gain positive experiences.

Keep your dreams in sight!

Expanding your comfort zone may be all it takes to achieve your goals and live the life you dream of.

I am realistic about my goals and abilities.

I am perfectly aware of my talents and abilities and I set my goals accordingly.

I take comfort in the knowledge that my goals are obtainable because I am realistic about my capabilities.

I succeed in my goals because I am reasonable and level headed.

Being aware of my abilities as well as my goals helps me to remain focused and positive.

I let go of self-doubt because I know I can achieve my goals; they are within my reach.

I understand and acknowledge that some of my goals will take more time and effort than others; still, I am confident that I can reach my goals because I have set them reasonably.

Today I will review my talents and goals and assess how close I am to meeting my objectives.

I strive to focus on the goal at hand and I believe in my ability to achieve it.

I am confident because I set this goal with complete knowledge of my capabilities.

My plans allow me to complete my tasks without stress.

Having a plan allows me to stay on track and complete my tasks easily without undue stress.

With each step, I feel achievement as part of my plan is completed.

My plans remind me of the action steps I need to take at each point.

Always knowing what to do enables me to push extraneous concerns aside and achieve success.

I complete one step at a time and move on to the next with ease.

As I complete one task at a time, I am able to build moment toward my goals.

When stress threatens, I can rely on my plans to help me chase it away.

Since my tasks have already been laid out for me, I simply forge on, confident that my actions will move me closer to my goals.

I can transform negative stress into a motivator that pushes me further and farther than I’ve ever been.

Today I will complete my tasks more easily, knowing that I am fully capable of great things.

By following my plans, I can disregard my worries and focus on completing my tasks.
