There are times when priorities change. I accept and welcome these changes as a necessary part of life.

My priorities are the things that are most important to me.

Naturally, as I grow and change throughout my life’s journey, different things become more important to me.

Changing my priorities keeps me true to myself.

When I pursue new goals, these goals may replace or take precedence over goals I had in the past.

Changing my priorities incorporates these goals into an important place in my life and helps me succeed.

When love enters my life, I change my priorities again.

I gratefully acknowledge my partner as one of the most important people in my life and redirect my priorities to allow for this change.

I create my daily schedule according to my priorities so the most important tasks are sure to get done.

On some days, a new task, goal, or challenge may be more important for that day, so I accept this and remain adaptable.

I make my decisions according to my priorities.

In this way, I always know that I am making the right decision for me.

It brings me the confidence to go ahead and act on my decisions, knowing that regrets cannot hold me hostage.

In order to follow my heart and keep true to myself, I examine my priorities often and change them as necessary to reflect on what is most important to me.

Today, I plan to re-examine my priorities and re-set them with my most important people, goals, and tasks at the top.

I make decisions with the big picture in mind.

I keep my priorities and goals in clear view so that, regardless of the circumstances, I do what I know to be the right thing for me.

Even if emotions run high in a disagreement or the distractions of the day try to take away my focus, I automatically think of the big picture.

I ask myself, “What is most important here?”

In a disagreement with someone I love, I go with the solution that best maintains a positive, loving relationship, because that is what is most important to me.

Whether I am right or wrong about a trivial issue does not matter.

In business negotiations, I keep my primary goal in mind and my discussions open to any solution that works well for both of us.

This solidifies a profitable business relationship.

Another question I ask myself in order to keep the big picture in mind is, “Will this make a difference 5 years from now?”

If a single issue can make a difference 5 years from now, I know that it is a matter of some importance to my life.

Otherwise, I keep it in its proper perspective.

Either way, I make decisions accordingly, letting my priorities guide me in my decision.

I use this strategy every day, even in seemingly small decisions.

Keeping my priorities in mind allows me to choose to live life according to what is really important to me, rather than being blown willy-nilly by momentary distractions.

As a result, I live a fulfilling life!

Today, I intend to keep the big picture in mind and I let my priorities – not distractions – guide me in my decisions.

I outline the big picture on my canvas before I paint in the small intricate details.

Just as a painter envisions his masterpiece, I envision living my dreams.

I know where I am going and how I plan to get there.

The exact details of my journey, though, are yet to be filled in.

In my masterpiece, the big picture is outlined with my goals.

I know that regardless of how the details pan out, the big picture will still be there.

I plan my action steps for success just as the painter plans what colors he will use in the details.

Painters face many challenges in creating their masterpiece.

What if a color comes out wrong?

What can he do?

Will he let it ruin his masterpiece, or will he paint over it with a color more in tune with his vision?

In the same way, when challenges arise, I can let them ruin my picture or I can devise a way to overcome them so I can still create a journey that is in tune with my goals.

I choose to look for solutions.

Yes, some of the details may come out a bit differently than I plan, but that is part of the beauty of my masterpiece.

The genius of creating a masterpiece allows for filling in the details as the picture emerges.

Today, I plan to outline my big picture on the canvas of my life, setting goals and priorities that will guide me in the creation of my masterpiece.

I am maintaining momentum through exercise, setting priorities, and taking short breaks.

I realize that living the life I desire is a journey, not a sprint, and so I set my goals accordingly.

I utilize strategies that can set me up for success while keeping me motivated along the way.

Exercising my body and mind brings me energy for the long haul.

Physical activity keeps me in shape, oxygenates every cell in my body to re-energize them, and keeps my brain sharp.

It also produces endorphins, the feel-good hormone, which helps bolster my self-esteem and confidence.

Mental exercises are also important!

Just as I physically exercise every day, I also work out my brain to maintain forward momentum.

I keep my thoughts and attitudes in shape with daily affirmations for success.

Setting priorities makes for effective time management.

I include my goals in my priorities and schedule time every day for tasks that point me toward success.

Taking short breaks rejuvenates me.

When I take the time to relax, even for a few minutes, I find that stress melts away and l can re-focus on what I really want to do.

I come back to my tasks with renewed energy, passion, and momentum.

These strategies keep me going, moving toward my goals, day in and day out.

They help me overcome challenges that try to knock me off my path.

Today, I allow myself the privilege to incorporate these successful strategies into my routine so I can maintain momentum toward my goals.

I do not cling to less important priorities.

Because I am clear on my goals, I do not cling to less important priorities.

I recognize that, like everyone else, I have limited time, energy and resources.

I let go of the idea that somehow I should be able to do everything.

I keep my focus on my objective, and distribute my time based on three priorities: family, rest and rejuvenation, and my goals.

My family comes first in my life, and I set aside time to nurture them and my relationships with them.

My relaxation activities are also important.

While they may not seem that essential to others, I know that my level of productivity depends largely on my own opportunities for rest and creative expression, so I make those a priority as well.

With the rest of my time, I choose to engage in activities that help me reach my personal and professional goals and let go of everything else.

Whether it’s a conference through work or a bowling night with friends, I filter each possible activity and expenditure through my priorities and make my decisions accordingly.

I am clear with others about my priorities and availability.

I let go of all guilt when I choose to decline an activity because I am confident that I have the big picture in mind and I am making a positive choice for the long run.

My priorities are in order.

I invest my time and money on things of substance.

Periodically, I do an inventory of my time to ensure that I am devoted to what is dearest to me.

Instead of waiting for some free time, I make time for what I value.

My life is focused on eternal value, not short-lived pleasures.

Material possessions are fleeting; therefore I focus on my relationships.

I value people over possessions because people are irreplaceable.

Every day, I spend time with my Creator giving thanks for the blessings I have and seeking direction for the future.

I ask for renewed strength and wisdom each morning so I can live my life the way I was meant to live.

My family comes first in my heart, above everything else.

The love I have for my spouse and children is the driving force behind everything I do.

My goal is to make them feel valued by the way I care for them.

Although I am thankful for my career, I realize that my career is simply a tool for me to provide for my loved ones.

I work hard, but my heart always belongs to my family. Time with my loved ones is far more precious than work.

I take care of my body, mind, and soul so I can have the necessary energy to take care of my treasures.

I pamper myself with relaxation activities like spas, massages, and long quiet walks in order to rejuvenate my spirit.

When I indulge in activities that bring me pleasure, I am better able to serve others.

Today, I keep my priorities in order by devoting time to the people in my life.

I reflect on ways to ensure that my priorities remain in order permanently.
