I am accepting of life’s circumstances.

I take life as it comes and strive to make the most of every situation.

When life is good, I am grateful.

When it seems bad, I am still grateful and seek the silver lining, for I know that in most challenges there is also something good if only I can find it.

Sometimes life is hard, and I accept that.

Challenges are a natural part of my wonderful life.

Even if life were a rose garden, there would still be thorns.

I let go of any tendency to bemoan my circumstances.

So what if they are not as I planned?

I can use my challenges to my advantage.

Through challenges, I can learn new ways of looking at things or gain new knowledge that can boost me forward.

Even if they boost me in a new direction, that’s okay because I am flexible.

Just as a mighty oak withstands the greatest storm by bending in the wind so, too, can I bend with my circumstances.

No matter what, I know who I am and where I am going, even if I have to take a new route to get there!

Regardless of life’s circumstances, I can always make the right decisions.

I maintain clear priorities so that I can always remain true to myself.

That way, wherever life takes me, I can stay on a track that is right for me.

Today, I think of life as a grand adventure: come what may, I accept it and look forward to what may come next!

Obstacles do not faze me.

I realize that anything worth doing comes with its own challenges. I accept this as a normal part of life.

Therefore, when obstacles present themselves, I calmly seek the best solution and take decisive action to overcome them.

I use my critical thinking skills to step back from the problem and see it from all angles.

I take all solutions into consideration to enable me to make the wisest decision.

I use my creativity to think outside the box.

Sometimes an issue can be simply sidestepped so I can move on.

Other times, the challenge must be dealt with head-on before I can move forward.

My optimistic attitude also steps in to provide me with workable solutions.

Almost every challenge comes with a benefit.

When I allow myself to see it, I often realize that the issue serves a purpose after all.

It either brings me new knowledge that ultimately helps me reach my goal, or it brings a solution that gets me there quicker and easier than I had originally planned.

Whatever the challenge, I feel that it must be there for a reason.

It is up to me to discover why and make the best of the moment.

So I confidently step up to the plate, ready for action.

Today, I plan to find the benefits hidden in my challenges and use my skills to overcome the issues with ease and confidence, knowing that they are just bumps in the road to success.

What successes have you had in overcoming challenges?

What benefits have you found in some of your past challenges?

I find opportunity in my challenges.

Challenges often arise for a reason.

At times they can pave the way to achieving my goals in ways I never previously thought of.

When I look at them as a good thing, I can often discover their blessings.

On the other hand, if I think of them as merely an obstacle in my way, I tend to miss out on their benefit.

In fighting a challenge, my focus is on what is wrong instead of what I can get out of it.

Naturally, if I focus on what is wrong, solutions to move forward tend to elude me!

I see challenges as the silver lining of the fabric of life.

It is up to me to discover this silver lining and take advantage of its opportunities.

A challenge can bring me a unique way of looking at a situation.

It invariably results in new knowledge that I find useful in my quests.

And sometimes it takes me on a new adventure altogether.

In all of these situations, there are opportunities just waiting to be discovered.

Therefore, instead of bemoaning every challenge that comes my way, I automatically look for the silver lining.

When I find it, I take action to use it to my advantage.

Consequently, I find that most of the time challenges bring me something good.

Today, I look forward to discovering the unplanned opportunities that the normal challenges of the day can bring.

What is the silver lining in one of your current challenges?

How can it help you?

I conquer one step at a time.

“One step at a time” is my mantra.

It enables me to reach my goals and overcome any challenge.

I am confident in knowing that success is mine for the taking.

When I choose a goal, I take the time to make an action plan to reach it.

My action plan consists of a series of small steps that lead to my ultimate success.

It’s like a private map of my journey to victory!

Some of these steps are so small that they can be reached in less than a day.

So my plan may be comprised of plenty of small actions, but I know that if I take one step at a time, I am sure to reach my destination.

When challenges arise, I take a deep breath and remind myself, “One step at a time.”

This mindset helps me devise a positive solution.

I can look at challenges from one angle at a time and come up with a way to go around it, overcome it, or use it to my advantage.

“One step at a time” also brings me patience when I need it and helps me relieve stress.

I am calmer and more accepting of life’s challenges because I realize that everything is just one small step of many in my journey to success.

Today, I plan to follow my mantra, reminding myself that I am a conqueror – one step at a time.

How can “one step at a time” help you overcome your current challenges?

How can you remind yourself to use this mantra daily to get you where you want to be?

I am emotionally prepared for any challenge.

Life can throw at me what it will, but I know I can handle it because I am in charge of my emotions.

I gratefully accept all emotions, good and not so good, because the entire spectrum of emotions is part of my wonderful human heritage.

When I have positive emotions, like joy and happiness, I allow myself to thoroughly enjoy them and I let the good feelings spill over into every area of my life.

When I experience uncomfortable emotions, like anger or sadness, I acknowledge the emotions and then deal with them in positive ways.

The first thing I do is take a step back to give myself a moment of thought.

I try to see the situation from all perspectives and then use my mental tools to help me effectively deal with negative emotions.

For example, one of my most valuable tools is my positive outlook on life.

I believe everything happens for a good reason.

Sometimes it just takes a while to see it.

If I am feeling upset, I look for the silver lining.

Surely something good must be in the situation, waiting for me to discover it!

Once I discover what is good, another one of my positivity tools – gratitude – takes over and I can give thanks for it.

Another useful tool, my excellent communication skills, can solve many of life’s emotional challenges.

Just think of how many negative emotions are due to miscommunication!

When I clarify the situation, the negative emotions dissipate.

Today, I plan to make full use of my positivity toolbox to handle any emotional challenges that arise.

I know with certainty that I am emotionally prepared for any challenge.

What tools can you use to help meet your emotional challenges?

How do you acknowledge your negative emotions?
