When I pursue my dreams, the world conspires to help me achieve it.

In order to actually pursue the life of my dreams, I need to be proactive.

Taking action is the key!

When I take action to move toward my goals and actively seek solutions to challenges, I find that success is invariably mine.

A dream is still just a dream – and it will remain that way – until I set things in motion with some action.

For this reason, when I have a dream that I would like to see come into fruition, I make an action plan to guide me to success.

I turn my dreams into concrete goals that I can achieve.

I then divide these goals into attainable tasks that will, when completed, let me arrive at the destination I desire.

Next, I arrange my to-do list so there are some quick, easy tasks at the beginning.

This allows me to dive right in – taking action toward my goals and building momentum to carry me through the harder tasks.

When a challenge arises, as I know it will, instead of sitting around bemoaning my bad luck, I take it in stride and immediately seek a solution.

Then I take action to overcome it and get back on track toward my goal.

That’s the way the world is: it rewards those who take action.

As long as I am actively involved in moving toward my goal, I know that, eventually, I will get there!

Today, I choose to take decisive action toward my goals, making an action plan and putting it into motion by jumping right in!

How to Make Your Dreams a Reality

Ever since we were children, we’ve had dreams.

The sad thing is, over the years we convinced ourselves that our dreams could never come true.

Because we assumed that they were mere fantasies, we didn’t even try to make them come true.

Believe it or not, your dreams can be reality!

However, you won’t get anywhere by simply making a wish.

You have to take specific actions to increase your chances of living that life you always dreamed of.

These are some simple techniques that can help you get started:

1. You must possess passion and desire.

These two elements are crucial for living your dream. Interestingly enough, you really can’t have one without the other.

You must yearn to have something in your life so much (desire) and for the right reasons (passion). 

A good example to illustrate the difference would be if you always wanted to be a professional singer.

You know that you have the talent and all you want in life is to sing on a professional stage some day (desire).

Your focus isn’t the money, fame, or prestige; you just have a true love for singing.

It’s all you think about all-day, every day (passion).

2. Patience. Patience isn’t easy, but in most case, our dreams don’t come true overnight.

You need to work hard to achieve your full potential.

Though it may take longer than you hoped, once you’re living your dream, you’ll realize that practicing patience was worth the rewards. 

Just remember to remain positive, focus on your dreams, and keep taking action to make those dreams a reality.

After all, patience is a virtue!

3. Sacrifice. Achieving your dreams will require self-sacrifice.

This is usually where most people can gauge how serious they are about turning their dreams into reality.

Whether it is giving up your TV time to work toward your goals, or spending extra hours at work to further your career, you have to be willing to sacrifice something. 

If you’re truly passionate about your dreams, this shouldn’t be too difficult.

If you do find sacrifice extremely difficult, it may be that you don’t possess enough desire, passion, willpower, or self-discipline to see your dreams through. 

4. Confidence. If you truly want to make your dreams real, you have to believe they can happen.

You must possess an intense confidence in yourself and your talents; otherwise, your dreams will remain dreams forever. 

Sometimes your confidence may waiver, but as long as you can focus on your ultimate goal – and you can actually see yourself achieving this goal – you’re heading in the right direction. 

Final Thoughts on Achieving Your Dreams 

No one can steal your dreams away from you except you.

Sometimes we can be our own worst enemy, biggest obstacle, and harshest critic.

But that’s not what you need!

You need to remember that, by taking action and implementing these simple tips and suggestions, your dreams can come true.

Keep your focus on the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow; it will happen if you only believe it can!

How to Easily Expand Your Comfort Zone

What if I told you I’d give you $1,000 to make an important public speech?

Would you take the offer?

Like most of us, you probably recoiled immediately at the idea, even though it could be lucrative for you!

Why didn’t this idea appeal to you?

When the very thought of certain activities evokes fear or anxiety within you, it’s because they’re outside your comfort zone.

Public speaking, for example, is outside most people’s comfort zone.

Your comfort zone is the sphere of activities that you feel comfortable with and that you can accomplish without negative emotions.

It also includes people, places, and things that cause only positive thoughts within you.

How Important is Your Comfort Zone?

Your comfort zone can limit your capabilities and cause you to forsake your dreams and goals, or it can spur you on to great things.

In fact, your comfort zone can determine both your personality and your potential for success.

Many successful people achieve their goals because they have the ability to expand their comfort zone in order to get what they want.

If you wish to expand your comfort zone, you can mentally condition yourself to be comfortable in new situations so you can overcome your anxiety, achieve your goals, and fulfill your dreams.

Here are some tips you can use to expand your comfort zone and help fight your anxiety about certain situations:

Understand your mindset. Mental conditioning plays a large role in developing your comfort zone.

This means that how we form our comfort zones begins in our own mind.

Each of us already has preconceived notions of what may be comfortable and what may not be, and we designate mental guidelines to keep us within our comfort zone.

You have chosen your own comfort zone boundaries!

Knowing your boundaries is the first step to being able to expand them.

Disobey some of your self-imposed rules.

If you want to expand your comfort zone, you must let yourself loose from the guidelines you impose on yourself.

Breaking some of these rules will allow you to seek new experiences that can bring you greater success!

Consider the true risk of a situation.

It’s important to know what the true risks are, as opposed to what you feel (or fear) may occur.

Knowing the difference can enable you to overcome your limitations.

Challenge yourself to step outside your comfort level.

Many times, we are our own worst enemy when it comes to boundaries and limitations.

There are times when you’ll have to push yourself to get where you want to be.

In these instances, you must meet the challenge to leave your comfort zone.

When stepping outside your comfort zone brings you success, you’ll find that the benefits are well worth the effort!

Whenever you try something for the first time, you’re bound to be a little uncomfortable.

We’re all conditioned to fight change and stay in our comfort zones.

You may have to remind yourself that only you can push yourself to step outside the box.

Be patient, be aware of your self-imposed limitations, and try things in small steps at a time.

This way your comfort zone will expand at a gradual, comfortable pace, and your fears and anxieties will subside as you gain positive experiences.

Keep your dreams in sight!

Expanding your comfort zone may be all it takes to achieve your goals and live the life you dream of.
