How to Create a Wealth Mindset

Wealth creation all starts with the mind.

If you have an abundance attitude and wealth mindset, you’ll be able to attract the financial success you deserve!

While there are many paths to wealth, once you discover the abundance mindset, you’ve set yourself up for actually achieving your dreams.

But how do you create this mindset in the first place?

Here are some techniques that will help you develop a wealth mindset:

1. Visualize your goal.

It’s not enough to just say you want to “be rich.”

You have to make the conscious decision to create a clear goal and visualize all the details.

It’s best to focus all of your energy on one thing rather than spreading yourself too thin.

2. Be specific. Break down your goal into minute details and start thinking about the exact steps you need to take in order to get there.

3. Break up the plan. The goal seems huge at first, but once broken down into smaller, more manageable steps, it doesn’t seem so bad.

Focus on each individual task that you need to complete, and then congratulate yourself once you achieve each step.

4. Take action. It’s easy to get caught up in the daydreaming and planning phases of your goals, but action is what it takes to get you there.

Your dreams become realities with action; otherwise they’ll just remain dreams forever.

5. Seek a mentor. Sometimes people are tempted to go at it alone, but you’re not alone in this world!

There are many out there that would like to see you succeed and it’s your responsibility to find these like-minded people.

Perhaps a business mentor or life coach may be just what you need to give you that extra push.

6. Focus on your thoughts.

If you’re experiencing confidence issues, it’s important to take time to focus on your thoughts.

Do you really believe that you can achieve wealth?

Are negative thoughts holding you back?

If necessary, remind yourself that wealth is possible and that success is a very real possibility for you as well.

7. Believe you deserve it. Believe that you are worthy of achieving wealth.

If you don’t think that you deserve it, you may unconsciously set yourself up for failure.

In turn, you may actually become the roadblock that prevents you from the wealth you deserve.

Then be willing to follow through on your action plan while maintaining a positive attitude.

In life there are plenty of snags in the road and your path to wealth won’t always be easy.

If you maintain the perseverance to achieve, you’ll be more willing to seek solutions and find success.

Seven No-Worry Ways of Overcoming Shyness

There’s a distinct difference between being quiet and being shy.

When you’re quiet, you know you have the option to speak, but you just choose not to do so.

But when you’re shy, you’re plagued by discomfort, worry, or even anxiety in social situations.

No matter how shy you think you are, there are ways to train yourself to overcome this barrier.

While you won’t turn into a social butterfly overnight, you can become a more confident person.

Another benefit of overcoming your shyness is that, without that timidity, you tend to take advantage of new opportunities that come your way.

These tips and tricks will help you conquer shyness:

1. Accept your personality. It’s truly important for you to accept yourself for the person that you are.

You can never be anyone but you. If you’re a quiet person from time to time, so be it.

There is just as much beauty in the personality of a quiet person as there is in an outgoing person.

2. Put yourself out there. When you’re shy, you’re more likely to avoid social situations altogether.

This only makes the problem worse.

If you make the effort to participate, you’ll become more comfortable in every social gathering.

Take small steps, but take action to step out of your comfort zone.

3. Avoid running away. Even if you’re feeling especially awkward and anxiety ridden, get through the situation as best as you can.

Afterwards, you can evaluate what you went through so you can grow from it.

6. Use visualizations. Visualizations can be very powerful.

They can help you relax and get past the anxiety associated with shyness.

Close your eyes and think about yourself in a situation where you’d normally feel shy or panicky.

Instead of feeling overwhelmed with negative emotions, visualize yourself as completely confident and happy.

7. Focus on someone else. Place all of your focus on the person you’re sharing a conversation with.

Really listen to what they’re saying. If your energy is focused away from how you feel, you’ll be less likely to be overtaken with the feelings of shyness.

It may also help you to encourage the other person to do more of the talking.

Use open-ended questions where they can launch into a whole story or explanation instead of just answering yes or no questions.

Eight Tips to Create a More Loving Relationship

Your relationship with your partner has the potential to be the most fulfilling experience in your life.

However, there are snags that can happen at every step of the way.

No one ever said that relationships were easy!

The good news is that if you stay proactive, you can foster a loving relationship no matter how many weeks or years you’ve been together.

When you create a more loving relationship, you make both you and your partner happy. You won’t find much better than that!

Here are some tips for creating a more loving relationship:

1. Show your gratitude. If you love your partner very much, than you’re obviously grateful for them.

However, you need to learn to express your inner feelings.

Your partner needs to know that you’re grateful. It shouldn’t be something that goes unsaid.

You can show gratitude by being more open in your conversations or by taking loving actions by buying gifts or suggesting ideas for quality time.

Also, remember the words: “Thank you!”

2. Incorporate more fun into the relationship.

You two may have separate ideas of what fun is, but try doing things together that you both enjoy.

It doesn’t have to be anything big and extravagant, just try to find something simple, yet exciting.

The key is to do something where you both won’t know exactly what to expect.

This adds that “special spice” to the relationship and helps stave off boredom.

3. Go out of your way. Yes, going out of your way for your partner may take some extra work, but it’ll be worth it!

Decide to make a grand gesture for your partner.

Do this out of the blue and your partner will really see that you care.

For example, you could throw them a party or take care of something that you know they don’t like doing.

4. Do activities they want to do. By making the sacrifice to do something you’re not all that interested in, it’ll make your partner feel loved and honored.

Of course, there’ll be interests you share, but make it a point to join in for an activity they really enjoy more than you do.

If your partner has always wanted to go ballroom dancing with you, perhaps it’s time to bite the bullet and go through with it.

5. Keep their needs in mind. As the years go by, it’s so easy to fall into patterns and restricted comfort zones, but you mustn’t forget about your partner’s needs.

If they enjoy an extra hug every once in awhile, go give them a hug.

If they like to talk about feelings and plans, sit with them and talk.

6. Say: “I love you” regularly. It seems that you can never say these three simple words enough.

Say it, text it, email it, record it, show it.

Do what you have to just to remind your partner of your true feelings.

This little phrase actually helps communication, lightens the mood, and fosters a more loving relationship for many years to come.

7. Listen actively. While it’s important to express your own feelings, it’s also critical that you truly listen to your partner’s feelings.

When you actively listen, you’ll begin to understand your partner in a new, deeper way.

They’ll also feel loved because they’ll see you being attentive and they’ll feel like their thoughts and feelings matter.

8. Support their ideas. When you agree with your partner’s ideas, make sure that you fully support them in both words and actions.

This feeling of support will help your partner feel loved.

When you don’t agree with your partner, it’s still important to remain loving.

Don’t shoot down your partner’s ideas or become overly critical.

Accept what they’re saying and suggest alternative ideas if needed.

Follow these tips, encourage your partner to do the same, and you can’t help but have a more joyous, loving relationship!

Tips for Making a Public Speech

If you find yourself in a position where you have to give a public presentation, you may be racked with nerves at the thought of standing in front of a group.

It’s normal to be scared.

After all, probably most people in your audience would be just as nervous in front of a crowd too!

Here are some public speaking tips for conquering your fear and being a successful speaker:

1. Practice makes perfect.

Make your speech in front of a mirror or a friend so you can accurately time your speech and get into a rhythm.

Practice speaking out loud, especially if there are hard to pronounce words or names.

2. You’re the expert, so speak with conviction.

Even if you don’t know everything about the topic, you should know enough about it to make it through your speech.

3. Project your voice.

Even though you’ll likely use a microphone, if you speak too softly your audience members in the back of the room might not hear you well.

Projecting your voice conveys confidence to your audience.

4. Maintain eye contact.

Periodically glance around the room and use the 3-second rule while looking directly into someone’s eyes.

Doing so will make your audience will feel more involved.

The 3-second rule means you take your eyes off your notes and look around the room.

Focus on a face for 3 seconds and then continue scanning the room.

5. Use humor in your speech.

Even if you’re speaking about a dry topic, draw something funny into your speech.

Not all of us are born comedians, so don’t go overboard on this if it isn’t natural.

6. Pause periodically.

This gives your audience time to reflect and think about what you have said.

This will also give you a breather so you can speak without feeling out of breath. It also paces what you say.

7. Use note cards.

Note cards will remind you of the important points you want to make in your speech.

Avoid writing out your entire speech and then reading it, however.

This shows that you haven’t really practiced what you’re going to say and it can affect your speech if you start to fumble around for your place.

Short note cards with an outline of your topic or short facts can be helpful in keeping you on topic.

8. Don’t worry if you make a mistake.

Everyone makes mistakes from time to time.

If this happens to you, just go on with what you were saying.

If you need to take a moment to re-align your thoughts, feel free to take it.

9. You’re in command of the stage when you’re the speaker.

Most audiences are quite forgiving, so just keep moving forward if you make a mistake.

10. Familiarize yourself with the audio-visual aids.

Much like your speech, make sure all the equipment is working and that you’re familiar with the room and equipment ahead of time.

11. Speak to your audience.

Be aware of your audience’s reactions to what you’re saying.

If what you’ve said is not being understood, find a way to restate it.

12. Handouts are a good aid.

You can do this one of two ways.

Hand them out at the beginning of your presentation or as a summary at the end.

13. Keep your speech within the time parameters.

Stop when your time is up.

When you practice ahead of time, you’ll get good at keeping within the time limits.

Every good speaker has had to learn how to give a good speech through trial and error, so the more speeches you give, the better you’ll become!

Many speakers say that stage fright never really stops, but being prepared can definitely decrease the level of fear.

Planning your speech ahead of time and talking about something you’re passionate about can be an amazing experience.

How to Overcome Anxiety

Have you been wondering how to overcome anxiety?

Anxious thoughts, fears, and worries invade the lives of many people on a daily basis.

Chances are they’ve invaded your life as well.

Anxiety is often a result of fears that you may have about uncertain situations, places, and even people in your life.

Most of the time, these fears are based on things that haven’t happened yet.

Maybe you worry if you’ll do well in a job interview or whether a new colleague will like you.

Those who haven’t experienced anxiety may think it’s foolish to worry about something that hasn’t happened yet.

But as you know, these feelings are very real.

If you’ve had it with the stress and anxiety in your life, you can achieve peace, eliminate anxious thoughts and fears, and successfully overcome anxiety.

Here are some anxiety tips:

1. Trust that you’ve got the faith, courage, strength, skill, and support to overcome anything.

This is especially true and important when it comes to overcoming anxiety that’s based on unrealistic fears and worries that plague your mind.

A support group of family members or friends can be vital in eliminating anxiety.

Talk out your fears to someone who will listen kindly without judging you.

2. Be true to who you are as a person.

Don’t condemn yourself for how you feel.

It’s important to understand that you can’t change how you feel, but you can change how you deal with these emotions.

3. Finding a way to release your emotions is an important element to overcoming anxiety.

You can write down your fears and worries in a journal, or even find a support group you can actively participate in.

4. Remember that there are some things in life that are beyond your control.

Many times, the worries you experience are a direct result of the fact that you’re not in control of the people, things, and situations in your life.

5. The things that are in your control can be managed.

Just slow down, take one thing at a time, and focus.

This will help to ease some of the discomfort you experience from your anxiety.

6. Rely on your faith.

Attend a church service or other type of religious place of worship.

Join a faith-based support group that focuses on anxiety, achieving peace in life, or similar items of interest.

This can alleviate a lot of your anxiety.

Many experts highly praise the power of prayer and meditation.

Understanding that you can’t control everything and releasing your worries to a higher power can be calming and give you a sense of freedom and relief.

7. Pursue activities that bring you peace.

Peace-bringing activities may include a hobby like painting, writing short stories, or doing different types of crafts.

Resolving Frustration in Your Life

We all get frustrated from time to time, but we need to express it constructively and effectively, otherwise we may hurt those we love the most.

Frustration is a normal reaction to being hurt, threatened, or unable to fulfill current needs.

It’s how we express our frustration that can cause additional stress in our own lives and in the lives of others.

Most often, the way we deal with frustration is formed at a very young age.

For example, we may mirror our parent’s reaction, or we may respond in the way we were conditioned because of our life experiences.

If the typical way you handle frustration causes problems in your life, then it’s time to change how you think and react to frustrating situations.

Unhealthy methods of processing frustration can lead to health problems and even inhibit our relationships with others.

How to Deal with Frustration Effectively

Many people respond to frustration by getting angry, giving up, or indulging in other self-destructive behaviors such as abuse of food, alcohol, drugs or cigarettes.

Expressing and dealing with frustration constructively requires several key components.

These ideas can help reduce the frustration in your day-to-day life as well as help you react patiently and peacefully:

1. Establish mutual respect.

You should have a mutual respect for all people involved, even those with differing opinions than your own.

Everyone is entitled to his or her own voice and you’ll waste precious time if you’re frustrated by every differing opinion.

2. Have a clear awareness of your own needs, thoughts, and feelings.

Discover who you are as a person rather than mimicking someone else’s opinions and thoughts.

3. Learn the difference between surface and primary needs.

In other words, is this frustration about one of your basic needs not being met, or is it merely due to a less significant, secondary need?

What’s preventing you from meeting this need?

4. Be aware of what you can and cannot control.

Some causes of frustration are beyond your control and therefore there’s no purpose in wasting energy on them.

Instead, use that energy to cope with the situation and move on.

5. Communicate constructively.

Be able to communicate your own personal boundaries and needs calmly and respectfully without guilt or shame.

This should not involve raising your voice or swearing.

Rather, learn to speak up so your personal needs are met.

6. Avoid feeling responsible for the behavior of others.

Everyone has his or her own free will and you can’t force someone to do something.

They make their own decisions and a reasonable adult will take responsibility for their own actions.

Remember: only you can control your actions and no one can make you do something against your will.

7. Determine the cause.

By identifying the cause of your hurt or frustration without placing blame, you’ll loosen the grips of frustration.

8. Realize that frustration isn’t always a bad thing.

Sometimes frustration can serve as a motivator to change if certain problems in your life are keeping you from reaching your goals.

Regularly evaluate if you’re on track to meet your life goals.

Where do you want to be in 5 or 10 years?

Sometimes you need to create a new goal and make some life changes to reduce your frustration and make your goal become a reality.

9. Accept reality.

When frustration is aimed at a circumstance beyond our control, it’s time to learn to accept the realities of life.

10. Learning to take things in stride will make you a happier and more content person.

When the frustrating situation is something you can’t control, such as getting stuck in traffic, practicing relaxation and deep-breathing techniques can be effective.

Frustration can turn a normally peaceful person into an irrational, angry one.

If you allow it, frustration can hinder your progress and immobilize you.

The goals you’re trying to attain will all of a sudden be out of reach.

Remember that, while you can’t completely eliminate frustration from your life, you can manage how you let it affect you.

Regain Important Family Time by Leaving Work at the Office

On days when your spouse comes home from work irritable and grumpy from a bad day, try telling them jokingly, “Go back and come in again.”

In our high-stress society, sometimes it’s hard to keep work and home separate.

Work worries follow us home so we’re never really free of them.

Even though work is such an intertwined part of life for everyone, it’s essential to leave your work problems at work so your home can be your sanctuary.

Here are some effective tips to help you leave those work issues back at the office so you can enjoy your time at home:

1. Schedule your day.

Plan ahead for how long you’re going to be at work.

When you’re “closed” be closed, even if it means ignoring the phone or emails.

The world won’t stop spinning if you sit down to dinner with your family and let the machine get the phone.

You know that you’ll pick things up the next day, so accept that the work can wait until you get back. Train yourself for this.

If you have to initially schedule family time or alone time, do it.

You’ll soon begin to enjoy the rewards of scheduled time off.

Turn off your cell phone, blackberry, or beeper when you walk in the door.

Your messages will still be there in the morning when you start your workday again.

This idea might prove a little tricky for stay at home moms, but learn how to set boundaries for your children.

After you put them to bed, tell them Mommy hours are over, and it’s time for you to relax.

Most children respect these parameters, and other people who need you will learn to respect your boundaries as well.

2. Change your clothes.

Work attire has certain standards and, when you change into comfortable clothing at home, you give yourself a chance to relax.

Whether you wear a uniform or business wear, changing your clothes is a mental indicator that work time is up.

Keep a cozy pair of slippers by the door so you can get comfortable immediately after you come into the door.

3. Give yourself time to de-stress.

You can just sit in the chair, read a good book, or fix a drink.

Whatever your method is to de-stress, make sure you’ve spelled out ahead of time that you aren’t to be interrupted until you’re ready.

If you know you don’t want to be pummeled by your kids the moment you walk in the door, arrange with your spouse or kids to allow a few minutes to de-stress.

Use your commuting time to de-stress, especially if you use public transit.

Listening to your iPod or just daydreaming out the window can make a world of difference in your mood once you get home.

Don’t stay in de-stress mode, however, for the entire evening!

Still take part with the family once you’ve cleared your mind for a bit.

4. Separate your work area.

As more and more people begin working from home, it’s harder to separate the two lives.

In order to help you distance yourself from work once work hours are over, keep your work area physically separate from your family area.

Establish your work area in a dedicated workroom, or separate your work area with a wall or a room divider so you’re not pulled back to your work area when you’re interacting with your family.

If you work with a laptop, don’t be tempted to bring your work into your family space.

It’s too easy to get distracted by work when your family needs you at the end of the day.

You’ll find so much peace of mind once you realize that you’re in control of your schedule!

Don’t let the boss run your world outside of work.

You’ll be happier, healthier and more productive when you take time for yourself and your family.

Treat yourself with the respect you deserve!

How to Jump Start Your Day During Your Commute

Whether you drive to work, take the subway, or hop on a bus, there are many different things you can do to get things moving in your day.

Commutes often take up quite a bit of time, especially during rush hour.

You may as well take full advantage of the time you have in order to ensure that your day is optimized for success.

There are many ways to jump-start your day while commuting to work.

Here are some activities you can do while you travel to get a great start to your day:

1. Listen to self-improvement audios.

If you’re traveling to work in your car, invest in some good self-improvement CDs, audio books, or MP3 downloads.

As you travel, listen to these CDs and learn how to unlock your potential, organize your day, prioritize, increase your self-esteem, or other key personal growth strategies.

iPods or MP3 players are perfect for those who carpool or ride a bus or subway to work.

Indulge yourself by listening to your favorite podcasts with your iPod, either entertainment, self-improvement or business-oriented.

2. Plan your day. If you commute by way of a bus or subway, or even in a car pool, you can take advantage of the time by planning your day or detailing project plans.

Write down notes about your various projects, prioritize your daily tasks by creating a to-do list, or schedule meetings by using your laptop or phone.

Be wary of talking on your cell phone while commuting.

Loud conversations can annoy other travelers and your reception might be spotty at times.

3. Take care of emails.

Email is a common time trap during the day.

If you have access to the internet during your commute, it may be an ideal time to check your email for any important information or to reply to those emails that have long been awaiting your response.

Taking care of administrative or simple email tasks on the way to work can help ease the load when you get to the office.

Organizing your inbox with filters and folders can make checking email a quick task.

Set limits about checking email once you reach the office to assure you’re working most efficiently.

4. Relax with hobbies or learn new things.

Use your commuting time to do something fun for yourself, such as studying a new language or learning about a topic that draws your interest.

You can keep your mind sharp and discover new things by taking the time you have during your commute to experience something different.

How To Deal With Disappointment

Everyone faces disappointments in life, both big and small.

Unfortunately, many of us choose to complain and whine about our problems to the immense irritation of others.

It’s important to acknowledge our disappointments and not just ignore them, but how do we do it effectively without being a nag to others?

The answer lies in learning constructive ways to acknowledge disappointments.

Disappointment can build character and patience if you allow it to.

Learning to deal with your disappointments constructively can make you a stronger person in the end.

Coping with Disappointment

The first thing you need to do in learning to deal with disappointment is recognize your old coping strategies.

Everybody has them.

Do you reach for the pint of ice cream or withdraw into a room all alone?

Do you get drunk and try to forget?

Once you recognize that your old strategy isn’t working, it’s time to create a new one.

Here are 5 tips for effectively dealing with your disappointments:

1. Acknowledge what you’re feeling.

You can honestly express the emotions you’re feeling without blaming or punishing others.

This is about how you feel about the situation, not others.

Articulate your feelings without attacking others.

Always be respectful, but don’t be afraid to let them know how you feel.

There isn’t a right or wrong way to feel.

Your feelings are valid and if you don’t voice your opinion then you’ll harbor resentment and stress yourself out.

Be honest with yourself about how you really feel about the situation.

2. Put things in perspective.

Even small disappointments can seem monumental at first.

But once you’ve expressed your hurt, frustration, or anger, take a step back and look at the bigger picture.

How much of an effect is this disappointment going to have on you tomorrow, next week, or next year?

Take a deep breath and go for a walk to put your disappointment into perspective.

Taking time to reflect and step away from the situation will help calm your nerves so you’ll be better able to handle the disappointment.

3. Refuse to doubt yourself.

Sometimes disappointment can make you feel like a failure.

You may wonder why these things happen to you or you may think you were stupid to get your hopes up in the first place.

But none of that is the truth.

Don’t allow yourself to give in to these negative thoughts!

Disappointment is not unique to you.

Everyone has been disappointed at some time in their life.

Instead of getting down on yourself, think about what could have been done differently and learn from the experience.

4. Look for a solution or compromise.

You can’t have your way all the time but sometimes there may be a second option that’s agreeable to each party.

Take a few deep breaths, relax, and look for the “silver lining.”

It’s possible to find something positive in almost every situation.

5. Reevaluate and make changes if necessary.

Sometimes when we experience disappointment, it may be a sign that we need to re-examine our priorities.

Depending on the degree of disappointment you’re facing, you may need to make minor or major changes to your life.

Learn to be flexible. Refocusing your attention on your new goals will help you forget about your disappointment.

Don’t Give Up

Any person who has had even a small degree of success in life has faced disappointments.

Winners simply don’t quit.

They learn from their failures and disappointments and go on to achieve their goals.

You can become your own biggest motivator!

Don’t underestimate the power of encouraging yourself by saying, “I can do this. I can make it.

I will get through this and become a better person!”

You don’t need to allow disappointment to lower your self-confidence.

That’s not to say that you need to gloss over your feeling, but you can simply learn how to deal with your disappointments effectively, then move on to bigger and better things.

How to End Your Friendship with the Snooze Button

For most people, mornings are the most productive part of their day.

However, many of us waste these precious morning hours just trying to wake up!

Then by the afternoon and evening, we get hungry, tired, or even bored.

Why?

Well, our brain has already begun to slow down for the day and we don’t tend to be as sharp as we’d like.

Advantages to Rising Early

Besides being more productive, there are a number of advantages to waking up earlier.

Here are 4 of the biggest advantages to rising early:

1. You have time for breakfast.

If you’ve been hitting the snooze alarm for 20 minutes, you’ve effectively cut out the time you would normally spend fixing a healthy breakfast.

Now you only have time to grab a donut and coffee on your way to work.

You’ve heard it before, but breakfast really is the most important meal of the day.

This meal jumpstarts your metabolism and gives you energy that will last throughout the most productive portion of your day.

You’ll also be less likely to eat unhealthy snacks all day long.

2. You have an early start to work.

Many people deal with rush hour every morning during their commute to work.

This ends up creating a frustrating start to your day.

You may be able to avoid this headache by simply waking up a few minutes earlier.

Have you ever noticed that leaving even 10-15 minutes earlier can make a difference in how much traffic you encounter on your commute?

Getting an early start can help eliminate stress.

3. You have time to exercise.

Many of us say that we’re going to start an exercise regimen but after a long day of work, the last thing you feel like doing is working out.

Mornings are the perfect time to get your blood flowing and adrenaline pumping.

You’ll work up a hearty appetite for a healthy breakfast by exercising in the mornings and you’ll be less stressed during your commute.

Plus, once you get to work, you’ll notice that you’ll have more energy to tackle any problems that arise.

4. You can enjoy peace and quiet.

We have so much noise and chaos in our lives.

You could have such a peaceful start to your day by enjoying a little quiet solitude before the rest of the world is awake and demanding your attention.

When was the last time you had “me” time?

Spend some time enjoying your breakfast while reading the newspaper or your favorite book each morning.

How to Become an Early Bird

Now that we know that getting up early has its advantages, how do we go about making this a regular habit?

It’s certainly easier said than done, but it’s not impossible!

Here are some ways to make the transition a little easier so you, too, can become an early bird:

1. Start waking up at the same time every day.

Decide how much time you need to accomplish what you want when you get up, then set your wake-up time accordingly.

Experts say we should even follow this schedule on the weekends or days off so we don’t wreak havoc on our internal sleeping pattern.

2. Do not hit the Snooze button.

If your alarm clock is too convenient to your bed, put it clear across the room so you have to get out of bed to shut it off.

From there, force yourself to leave your bedroom.

If you let yourself even think about sleeping in, you probably will.

So just get up and start your day.

Go to the bathroom and splash some water on your face and you’ll be less tempted to get back in bed.

3. Go to bed earlier.

The last thing you want to feel is sleep-deprived, so this may mean that you need to give up your night-owl.

There will be a few days of adjustment since your body won’t be used to going to bed early.

However, after a few mornings of getting up early, you’ll feel tired early enough in the evening that you should have no problem going right to sleep.

If you’re tempted to stay up late watching television, record your favorite shows and watch them in the morning during your peaceful “me” time.

By nature, we are creatures of habit.

When you develop a bad habit (like continually hitting the snooze), you’ll likely continue to fall into that trap.

Breaking this routine will force you to start fresh, and you’ll be happy that you did!
