Each morning I awake feeling confident and capable to handle the day’s challenges.
I know that I can rise with confidence each morning because I use strategies that ensure this result.
Prayer, meditation, affirmations, and a successful goal-setting technique all lend a hand to my confidence.
So does my optimistic attitude!
The last thing I do every night to prepare for the morning ahead is to pray and give thanks for all that I have.
Then I meditate and visualize my success.
Living my dreams in this way every night helps me to wake up with confidence about the day ahead.
After all, I’ve already seen the success this day will bring!
Affirmations provide me with an extra boost of positive self-talk during my day.
They help me develop successful habits and make wise decisions that lead me toward my goals.
When a challenge arises to try and stop me, I know with certainty that I can find a way to conquer it and continue on.
My goal-setting technique works wonders!
In dividing my goals into a series of small, attainable tasks, I set myself up for sure success.
My action plan is my road map and I know that all I have to do is take one step at a time and I will end up at my desired destination.
Challenges can slow me down a bit, or make me take a slight detour, but I actively seek solutions as the issues arise.
I remain flexible so that I can take decisive action toward my solution without delay.
Today, I plan to tackle my challenges head on and take action to move forward regardless of their feeble efforts to stop me.

Happiness does not exist in yesterday’s memories or tomorrow’s hopes; it exists now.
I cherish the pleasant memories of days gone by, but I refrain from living in the past.
Likewise, I let go of any tendency to try to put off my life until a better day. Tomorrow may never come!
Today is what I have and I gather happiness from every moment of it.
When the day dawns, I am happy to have the chance to live another great day in my life.
I look out the window and notice how beautiful the dew is as it reflects the sunlight.
I hear the birds singing in lovely harmony as they, too, rejoice in the new day.
I relish the pleasant aroma of my morning coffee and enjoy the warmth of the sun when I go out the door to meet whatever adventure life brings me today.
When every day starts this well, how could anything diminish its pleasure?
My day is a parade of wondrous moments and I joyfully receive the pleasure of every single one of them.
My partner, children, flowers, puppies, kittens, butterflies, dessert, sunshine, rain, lunch, and thousands of other good things all bring happiness for their fleeting moments in my life every day.
Even challenges most often bring me something good when I take the time to find the silver lining.
I ask myself, “How can this help me?”
Then I happily take action to move forward, armed with the new knowledge gained from the challenge.
Yes, happiness happens, and it happens in the here and now.
Today, I strive to allow happiness into my life as I live my parade of wondrous moments.
What special little moments happened to you today?
How can you remind yourself to take pleasure in each moment?

You’re always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company. – Diane Von Furstenberg
It’s easy to make a buck. It’s a lot tougher to make a difference. – Tom Brokaw
I allow others to help me.
I release the need to try to do everything myself.
Other people can do things just as well as I can, and I am relieved that they are ready and willing to help me out.
Letting others help me brings with it a whole world of benefits, starting with giving me more time for myself!
At home, I let my children help with the household responsibilities.
I start when they are just toddlers with small tasks that they can easily achieve.
As they grow, I teach them how to sort their own laundry and then take care of it themselves.
I show them how to cook and clean and then assign tasks for them to do each week.
I show them the importance of organization and let them help keep things organized.
As a result, they learn responsibility and each child feels that he is an integral and needed part of the family.
I allow my spouse to help me, too.
In fact, we help each other however we can.
Household work is always more fun and gets done in half the time when we do it together!
Also, when I am feeling down, my spouse shores me up again.
At work, I let my co-workers help me.
I delegate tasks to those most suited for it, knowing that they will do a great job.
The whole team benefits when we share the work and responsibilities in this way.
When I am trying to solve a problem, I seek advice from those who may have been through the same dilemma.
I let their wisdom and experience guide me in my decision.
Today, I give up the superman persona and welcome help from those who would give it.
How can you get your children involved in helping around the house?
How can you delegate tasks more effectively at work?

Never wish life were easier, wish that you were better. – Jim Rohn
I am accepting of life’s circumstances.
I take life as it comes and strive to make the most of every situation.
When life is good, I am grateful.
When it seems bad, I am still grateful and seek the silver lining, for I know that in most challenges there is also something good if only I can find it.
Sometimes life is hard, and I accept that.
Challenges are a natural part of my wonderful life.
Even if life were a rose garden, there would still be thorns.
I let go of any tendency to bemoan my circumstances.
So what if they are not as I planned?
I can use my challenges to my advantage.
Through challenges, I can learn new ways of looking at things or gain new knowledge that can boost me forward.
Even if they boost me in a new direction, that’s okay because I am flexible.
Just as a mighty oak withstands the greatest storm by bending in the wind so, too, can I bend with my circumstances.
No matter what, I know who I am and where I am going, even if I have to take a new route to get there!
Regardless of life’s circumstances, I can always make the right decisions.
I maintain clear priorities so that I can always remain true to myself.
That way, wherever life takes me, I can stay on a track that is right for me.
Today, I think of life as a grand adventure: come what may, I accept it and look forward to what may come next!
How do you accept challenges as a natural part of life?
How often do you seek the silver lining?

Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did. – Newt Gingrich
I am committed to caring for myself.
I know that when I take care of myself, I make my whole life better.
Properly caring for me gives me the passion and energy to live life to its fullest with plenty left over to devote to those I love.
I take my commitment seriously and schedule time every day for self-care.
I use tools like meditation and affirmations to relax me and nurture my soul.
I exercise, eat right, and sleep well for both physical and mental health.
My day starts and ends with thanks and meditation.
I visualize my success and happiness and enjoy it to the fullest.
Throughout the day, I use positive affirmations whenever I need a lift.
I include time for myself even on hectic days and especially on stressful days.
Exercising releases my stress and sends a rush of the feel good hormone throughout my body.
It replenishes and revives me so I am ready to take on the world again.
Caring for myself lets me be the best I can be.
When I take a break to do something just for me, I come back stronger than before.
I have more focus and energy for my tasks at hand.
As a result, life is good! I am happy and so are those around me.
I have the strength and fortitude to handle whatever life may throw my way.
Today, I plan to spend more time on me!
