Attracting Positive People Into Your Life

According to the law of attraction, we’re always transmitting positive or negative energy.

Others pick up on this and respond likewise.

When you attract like-minded positive people, together you can focus on obtaining your desires.

Positive people will encourage and support you.

On the other hand, negative people will tell you that you can’t achieve your goals, and that they’re too hard or unreachable.

If you’re continually bombarded with negative phrases in your thinking, such as “I just can’t make ends meet,” “There’s never enough,” or “I just can’t seem to get ahead,” then you’re attracting more negativity into your life.

The universe will always respond to your song, so make your song harmonious with your desires, not your frustrations!

If you find yourself focusing on your small paycheck, physical ailments or unfulfilling relationships, it’s time to make a change.

Maybe your parents were role models of criticism instead of encouragement, or maybe you’ve always surrounded yourself with negative friends.

Whatever the reason, it’s time to break this cycle of negativity.

Consider raising your standard of expectation.

Find people to associate with who emit positive energy.

When seeking other positive people, think of people you admire and identify their traits you especially enjoy.

You’ll be generally attracted to people who have a similar sense of humor or who hold the same set of values.

Here are some ways to attract positive people and create more positive energy in your life:

Positive energy is open-minded.

Listen to all points of view and do your best to understand them, regardless of how different from your own they are.

Trying to change someone’s mind is usually futile, so, even if you’re right, save your energy, understand their opinion, and move on.

Give others the benefit of the doubt.

Negative energy is critical in judging others and loves finding fault.

Judging produces negative energy and attracts more of the same back to you.

2. Be honest.

Express your true self in thoughts, words, and actions.

We’re all human, and negative thoughts are a part of human nature.

The key is not to dwell on them.

I make positivism my defense for offensive behavior or words.

When others try to victimize me with their inconsiderate behavior, I am able to overcome their attempt with a light hearted, positive spirit.

A smile, joke, or compliment can easily disarm any negative force.

Positivism is the bulletproof vest that shields me from offensive behaviors.

In the morning, before I face the day, I make a decision to arm myself with optimism.

I lather up in positivism so that offensive words just slide off me.

I choose not to be an audience for negative people.

When I don’t allow offensive words or behaviors to affect me, I enjoy peace.

My mood is calm and free from stress.

I am able to get along with others more peacefully when I am not hyper sensitive to offensive behavior.

I have a superior understanding of others when I allow them to explain themselves.

I give others the benefit of the doubt by evaluating their motives before their actions.

With that attitude, I find that others usually have good intentions despite how they might express themselves.

Looking at the positive is a conscious choice that I make each day.

It frames my responses and my outlook in every interaction I face.

Being positive allows me to forgive people more easily.

I am free from grudges and holding on to hurts.

I am able to accept others by putting away unpleasant memories from the past.

My positivism is contagious, enabling others to feel free to be positive around me as well.

My energy is focused on positive solutions.

My energy is focused on positive solutions because I recognize the importance of continually moving forward.

I know that being content with what I have and where I am going helps me achieve my goals.

I have let go of the need to list all that has gone wrong or might go wrong.

I plan ahead so I can be prepared, and I focus my time and energy on what I want to see happen.

Then I lay out the steps I need to take in order to achieve my goals.

I recognize that others may see things differently than I do.

I respect the advice of those older and more experienced than me, but I also realize that I have the best understanding of my own capabilities.

I use the experience of others as stepping-stones to my own success, but I let go of the idea that I need everyone to be enthusiastically behind me in order to move forward.

Because I have put careful thought and planning into my goals, I am confident that I am making wise choices and continue to forge on, regardless of whether or not people understand or agree with me.

I let go of the paralyzing effects of negativity and reach, instead, for the energizing empowerment of positive focus.

Combating Negative Thinking with Positive Self-Talk

Do you talk yourself out of being excited and hopeful every time you feel good about yourself?

Do you often start out feeling confident in yourself and your abilities, and then drop to zero confidence when your inner dialogue kicks in?

This negative thinking is something many people struggle with, but there’s a better way.

You can combat negative thoughts with positive-self talk instead of letting an automatic negative thought process rule your life.

Negative Thinking, Positive Self-Talk, and You

Many people lack the confidence to realize that they deserve to feel good about themselves.

These people never pay attention to the fact that they are the ones telling themselves that they don’t deserve rewards.

Are you one of these people?

You can discover if you are sabotaging yourself by tuning into your thoughts and listening.

What do you hear?

Are you encouraging yourself with positive thoughts?

Or are your thoughts filled with negatives?

You may not even realize how negative thinking may be dominating your life.

This may be something that you deal with daily and have come to see as normal.

However, it’s only normal if you allow it to be that way!

Positive self-talk is the practice of responding to negative thoughts that run through your mind.

For example, when you tell yourself that you can’t possibly land the job because you aren’t good enough, you can respond with positive thoughts that do not leave room for negativity.

These thoughts can be as simple or complex as you like. The important thing is that you continue to think positively.

Positive self-talk allows you to be the one controlling your thoughts!

Many people pair positive self-talk with affirmations.

Affirmations are simple statements you can repeat to yourself over and over again.

You can allow these thoughts to become true for you.

The process is as subconscious as it is conscious.

When you continue to reaffirm the positive thought, you will make it true for yourself until you eventually don’t need to remind yourself to think that way.

Affirmations are positive statements that replace your negative thought processes.

You can change your life one thought at a time!

When you are feeling low and thinking negatively about yourself or your future, try saying, “I give myself permission to be successful,” or “I see myself in the winner’s circle.”

Strive to replace your negative statements with positive thoughts when you repeat your affirmations.

Soon it will become second nature to repeat your affirmations anytime that you start to think negatively.

With positive self-talk you can truly change the course of your life.

You can go from being a negative person with no hope for the future, to being an optimist who can achieve anything you put you mind to.

Does this mean that there won’t be challenges along the way, or that you’ll never fail?

No, because those things are a part of life.

But what it will mean is that you’ll have a better attitude, which will allow you to grasp the very best that life has to offer.

Positive self-talk isn’t difficult and it’s worth the effort that is involved because it can truly change the way you view yourself and the world that you live in.

My body and mind deserve the rewards of self-reflection.

When I am rested and at peace, I can sit and enjoy the calm feelings that flood through my mind.

By focusing on myself in the moment, my body and mind can enjoy the rewards of self-reflection.

I am able to think about the things I have accomplished and the things that I want to do.

When I get the chance to reminisce about how fortunate I am and how fulfilling my journey has been, I feel a sense of happiness in my heart.

Even with the challenges, I can truly say that my life is wonderful!

My mind is healthy. I am rejuvenated and inspired to do even more with my life and I engage my mind to remember the lessons I have learned so far.

There are no regrets and I would not change a thing about my journey.

However, I continue to look for change in myself because we all need to grow and adapt.

I am prepared to be in charge of how I run my life so I take the time to reflect and look for ways to improve.

I only lean on others when I must. I am self-contained and confident in the power that is within me.

I find peace knowing that I am worthy of anything that happens to me.

I make a point not to live in the shadows, but to live life with precise thought about where I am going and where I want to be.

The Power of a Positive Attitude

The power of a positive attitude cannot be underestimated.

The American minister and author of the book The Power of Positive Thinking Norman Vincent Peale wrote, “Any fact facing us is not as important as our attitude toward it, for that determines our success or failure.

The way you think about a fact may defeat you before you ever do anything about it.

You are overcome by the fact because you think you are.”

If you think you’re beaten, you are.

But if you stare defeat in the eye and refuse to give up because of “a humble but reasonable confidence in your own powers” (Peale again), you can overcome any challenge and attain whatever you desire.

Empty pockets can’t hold you back very long, but if you have an empty mind filled with negative thoughts, you’ll always be held back from what you desire most.

Positive Thinking Leads To Action

With a positive attitude, you’ll begin to believe that you can build wealth in abundance.

You’ll chart your own course and be the master of your own fate and the captain of your own soul.

Thinking about what you want and deserve in life will lead you to take whatever steps are necessary to make those dreams come true.

Very often it’s a slow road to achieving your dreams, but one small step toward change will bring another small step after it.

Visualizing yourself in a better paying job might spur you to update your resume.

Believing you belong in a house in the suburbs might push you to call a realtor or look in the classified ads.

Realizing you have talents that make you special might convince you to volunteer in your community.

Living an abundant life doesn’t only refer to what’s in the bank. Abundance of family and friends is a very important part of human life.

It’s Easier To Be Negative

The average person gets all too easily gets imbued with a negative attitude.

It’s so much easier to whine and complain about needing more money, a better job, or a bigger house.

People are often lost in the negative imagery and don’t ever realize it’s in their own power to change their circumstances.

With a positive attitude, you’ll have a higher quality of life. Having a positive attitude can really work magic in your life.

People who have survived cancer invariably say that a positive mental outlook was vital to their success in overcoming their terrible disease.

A positive mental attitude helps you find the humor in things that may typically bring you down.

You’ll be able to see things from a fresh perspective so you can handle the tough times with more creativity and intelligence.

With a positive attitude, you’ll simply feel more joy in your life.

You’ll laugh more, feel healthier, be more courageous, have more self-confidence, and you won’t be as prone to giving up before you even get started.

More often than not, things will fall into place and you’ll feel an incredible sense of accomplishment!

I am a positive role model.

I enjoy being an affirmative example to others.

I love to help others; it is a part of my nature.

One of the ways that I am helpful to others is by being a positive role model to them.

By living my life in a way that is positive, I influence others to make positive changes in their life.

At work, I lead by example through my work ethic and integrity.

I am proficient at my job and lend my help to others in the workplace as well.

I feel good about the encouraging example I lead in my workplace.

I am also a positive role model to my friends and family.

I am a true friend and offer myself to my loved ones when they are in need.

My frame of mind stays upbeat and I enjoy each aspect of my life.

I am proud of the example I make to those around me.

My positive energy is infectious and others draw from my energy and become more positive as well.

Today I will benefit others and benefit the world through my positive mindset and attitude.

I choose to conduct my life constructively and I feel good knowing that anyone who lives the life I lead will also make a positive impact on the world.

My mind is a sponge that attracts positive thoughts.

As I travel through my day, I soak up positivity from each moment.

I glean goodness from everything – the aroma of my morning coffee, the jubilance of a puppy, and even a smile from a passing stranger.

I am inspired, uplifted, and motivated by all of it.

When I wake up in the morning, I revel in the wonder of the dawn and the freshness of a new day.

I give thanks for another day of adventure and look forward to what this day will bring.

I take my positive thoughts with me to work and I add to them as the day goes on.

My optimism is contagious as my co-workers and I journey together through a myriad of customers, phone calls, and paperwork.

I find that one positive thought leads to another, and then another, and then some more!

My relationships at work with my clients and co-workers greatly benefit from this optimism.

It raises both morale and profits, providing a win-win situation for everyone.

After work, I rejoice in the company of my family and friends.

Because of my positive mindset, instead of being exhausted from trials and tribulations at work, I am energized by the success of my day and I have plenty of time to spare for my loved ones.

Today, I plan to thoroughly enjoy the parade of positive moments that make up my day and share my positivity to uplift others as well.
